Here we have put together a selection of the many options for planning your vacation. Of course there is more, but the best way to discover it is on site.

Bad Schandau

Bad Schandau can be reached in about 15 minutes by car.
There are restaurants and cafes.
You can also buy all the groceries you need in various supermarkets there.
There is also a pharmacy, various doctors and a gas station.

Dresden

Dresden can be reached in about an hour by car.
Or you can comfortably use the S-Bahn from Rathen.
In the main season it runs at short intervals.

Prague

A trip to Prague is also possible at any time by car on the now completely completed motorway in just under 2 hours.

But think about the motorway toll.

If you don't want to drive yourself, some regional bus companies offer day trips with a guide.

Rathen health resort with bastion and the unique rock stage

Rathen can be reached on foot from the holiday home in about 20 minutes.

Please note that only residents are allowed to drive into the town of Rathen on this side of the Elbe. All other visitors have to cross the Elbe bridge in Bad Schandau or Pirna to Rathen and can then use the visitor parking lot and the passenger ferry.

A performance in the Rathen rock stage is a very special experience. There is always something for children and adults ... but see for yourself!
